First Aid Training

4 Day First Aid At Work (FAAW) (£250 PP)

Regal Security Training Ltd now has the facility to deliver First Aid At Work (FAAW) packages on a weekly basis at our centre location or at your location for in house qualification.

For the FAAW courses please book early for 2009 as these courses fill immediately, the FAAW courses are run on the first Monday of each week, discounts are given when course are booked for five or more companies book for their own personnel to obtain the qualification.

Aim

The HSE First Aid at Work (4 day) course covers all aspects of first aid and is intended to train candidates in the initial responses required when confronted by a person suffering from a wide range of injuries and conditions. The course covers the subjects recommended by the Health and Safety Executive.

The aim of the course is to give candidates a good knowledge of First Aid in the workplace and to give employers a certificated First Aider to comply with the regulations and the approved code of practice.

Benefits & Qualifications To Be Earned

Students passing the course will be awarded the HSE "First Aider in the Workplace" certificate.

Eligibility & Prerequisites

Trained students may also attend where vacancies exist.

Coruse Objectives

On completion of the course the candidates will be able to:

Identify potentially hazardous situations
Quickly and efficiently alert the emergency services
Provide basic emergency first aid at work to colleagues
Ensure first aid equipment is up to date and correct
Act as the qualified First Aider within the work place

Student Assessment

Students are assessed by written tests throughout the course and three practical examinations and one 30 minute theory examination on the second weekend.
